MoonJet Successful Support of Two Thomas Cook Repatriation Missions

MoonJet had successfully accomplished full support for two A380 flights in its largest flight support and catering mission to-date, the flights were in a time-critical mission to return Thomas Cook travelers from Mexico back home.

The operator trusted MoonJet FZE with yet another full flight service, the service included flight movement tracking, and all the pre-flight procedures; ground services, fuel uplift, flight plan filing, APIS filing, catering loading, crew & passenger assistance, and then the necessary arrival procedures.

As with any mission of this scope and complexity, it is important to pay attention to detail, plan carefully, and orchestrate a single-minded team communication with the various involved parties, and be meticulous in follow-through.

MoonJet’s team of experienced flight support officers once again demonstrated, through their commitment to excellence, their ability to handle this mission by keeping the operator up-to-date reflecting with timely updates all the related services status and live photos showing what’s happening on the ground.

The team has also managed timely cargo loading messages (CPM/LDG/UCM) along with the APIS manifest filing to UK borders, providing the operator a stress-free successful mission.

Matt Zeno, MoonJet’s Deputy Operations Manager said “The trip was successfully completed to the full satisfaction of all parties involved, the operator, the travel agency and most importantly the passengers. According to our quality survey, the whole operations team at MoonJet did an excellent job again coupled with real professionalism.”
