A Total of 20 EU/EEA Countries Have Lifted Their COVID Entry Rules So Far
With the number of COVID-19 infection cases dropping drastically and with the summer season being just weeks away, the majority of the European Union/European Economic Area countries have already lifted all of their entry rules.
The complete list of the EU/EEA countries that have removed all of their entry rules so far is as follows:
- Austria
- Belgium
- Bulgaria
- Czech Republic
- Croatia
- Cyprus
- Denmark
- Greece
- Hungary
- Iceland
- Ireland
- Italy
- Latvia
- Lithuania
- Norway
- Poland
- Romania
- Slovenia
- Sweden
- Switzerland
All travellers, regardless if they are reaching one of the countries mentioned above from an EU or third country, are permitted restriction-free entry.
On the other hand Estonia, Netherlands & Spain continue to keep entry rules in place for third country travellers despite lifting them for EU nationals.
