Austin City Limits Music Festival

Held at Zilker Metropolitan Park, The ACL lineup is as eclectic and exciting as you’d hope to find at a festival inspired by a renowned music-centered TV show and held in a city that loves live shows. The 2019 Austin City Limits lineup features over 100 artists on eight stages, with headliners Guns N’ Roses, Mumford & Sons, Childish Gambino, The Cure, Billie Eilish, Tame Impala, Cardi B (first weekend only), and Robyn (second weekend only). Other noteworthy performers playing ACL in 2019 include Lizzo, The Raconteurs, Gary Clark Jr., and Kacey Musgraves, among many others.

Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe

Location: Longchamp Racecourse, Paris, France
The build-up to one of the biggest races in world horse racing is well underway, and excitement is becoming feverish as Enable bids to make history. She can become the first horse to win the Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe three times in a row at Longchamp.

The Japanese Grand Prix

Date: 13 October
Location: Suzuka Circuit, Ino, Suzuka City, Mie, Japan
Lewis Hamilton will be looking for more good fortune at the Japanese Grand Prix after getting his first win at Sochi. The British Mercedes driver will be looking for his sixth win in Japan as Hamilton looks to equal Michael Schumacher for most GP wins.

NBAA Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (NBAA-BACE)

Date: October 22 – 24
Location: Las Vegas Convention Center, Las Vegas, Nevada, United States
The NBAA-BACE is the premier event and annual meeting place for the business aviation community. This event brings together key aviation contacts from around the world a place to meet business aircraft manufacturers’ current and prospective business aircraft owners.

The Mexican Grand Prix

Date: 27 October
Location: Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez, Mexico City, Mexico
71 laps of the 4.3 kilometer Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez sits over 2km above sea level, making the 4.3km lap a breathless experience. The track still largely follows the outline of the original 1959 circuit, the main difference being that the spectacular – and spectacularly scary – Peralta corner is now bisected, with the circuit instead winding through the old Foro Sol baseball stadium, providing one F1’s most unique vistas.

World Series 2019

Date: October 22 – 30
Location: Various
The 2019 World Series will be the championship series of Major League Baseball’s 2019 season. The 115th edition of the World Series will be played between the American League champion and the National League champion.
