Bangladesh Overflight Permit New Rules

Bangladesh is a signatory to the Chicago Convention, therefore, the conditions of flights and crews should be compliant with ICAO general rules of international air traffic.

Flights should be also complaint in accordance with Bangladesh regulations for the transport of troops, equipment, materials and dangerous goods.

All flights overflying Bangladesh require an overflight clearance.

According to the Bangladesh Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), it is required to file a request for overflight clearance at least 72 working hours before flight departure.

4. Bangladesh FIR entry/exit point
5. Total number of Crew
6. Total number of Pax
